In order for the businesses to better organize this process, our SaT consultants assist them in providing expertise in each of the capital management phases – when raising, investing, optimizing the existing one, and preserving capital in adverse situations. EY’s SaT, through the services of creating feasibility studies, financial modeling, transaction support (due diligence), company and asset valuation, refinancing and restructuring, as well as acting as an intermediary in the merger and acquisition processes (M&A), provides added value by helping companies make better, more informed decisions and strategically manage capital and financial transactions.

Join our Real Estate, Hospitality and Construction (RHC) team and you will work with many of the world’s largest organizations, renowned investors and private equity firms on some of the biggest and most complex cross-border deals on the global market.

EY RHC professionals engage in different activities when advising the clients, such as valuation advisory, market research and creation of financial feasibility studies, strategic business planning, development and concept advisory services, development of highest and best use studies, capital raising, financial and commercial due diligence, etc. You will help identify the key value drivers of the industry, assess financial and operational data, challenge assumptions about future performance, provide insights to key decision makers that will help them increase value and work with other EY service teams to deliver an integrated approach to our clients throughout the whole engagement.

The opportunity

We are currently looking for an Experienced Assistant Consultant to contribute to the delivery of quality services for our diverse clients. This position offers excellent opportunities for learning and career advancement to the right candidate.

Your key responsibilities

• Participate in valuation and valuation reviews of assets and projects
• Perform market research for the purposes of strategic decision-making
• Assist in preparing reports, teaser documents and investment presentations that will be delivered to clients and other parties (investors, financing institutions, etc.)
• Provide support in development of financial models to test the feasibility of proposed projects
• Perform a review of third-party financial models for financing and investment purposes
• Assist in financial and commercial due diligence activities on both buy- and sell-side of a transaction
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client’s management teams 

To qualify for the role you must have

• Strong knowledge and understanding of the real estate industry
• 1-3 years of relevant industry experience in financial decision-making setting (valuations, investments, deals, collateral management etc.)
• Experience with assessing the fair/market value of the real estate assets using different valuation approaches (i.e. market, income, cost)
• Excellent knowledge of basic MS office package (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• Fluency in English language

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, economics or related areas of expertise
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and relevant accounting standards (IAS 16, IAS 36, IAS 40, IFRS 13, IFRS 16, etc.)
